My name is Frank Ruiz I am an aspiring Audio Engineer, and my passion lies within all things audio. For me I love to expand my skill set, whether it is in the video game realm with sound design or with music and being able to get the best recording and mixing the track to make it sound just as the person who created it envisioned. I always like to spend a lot of time on what I work on and will dedicate myself when it comes to a project whether it is my own or someone else's.

 Being able to work hand in hand with a team that I am assigned to is always something I will do my best on making sure I accomplish,because there is nothing that can make a group fall behind on a deadline then when there is a lack of communication. Sometimes, when it comes to working together some members of the team either have their input on an idea not heard or are to shy to be able to voice their opinion and for me that's where I will come in and make it so that the group listens to this individual's idea even if it seems crazy, because sometimes it's that idea that could have made the project even better. 

  What I do can all be defined by one simple word and put into a context and that word/context is create. Whether if it is mixing a song to be able to create a fantastic sounding recording or whether if it is in game design and creating sound effects/ambiances. My skill set all revolves around my imagination and how I am able to create something that can fit for the task at hand.

  Currently, I have just completed working on 2 small games to be able to continue practicing and developing my skill set for this craft of work. Along with this I am also working with a friend of mine from back home who is making his own indie game which I am providing both the music and sound design for, it is a small project that we have been working on for the past year. While doing this I have also been working as a freelance mixing engineer for 2 different clients of mine that both are in the genre of hip hop music. I take on multiple projects but I make sure that it is not too much for me to handle even though it may seem like a lot some of the projects deadlines are farther from the others so this allows me time to be able to complete them all. I always make sure I can handle a task I am given because I never want to let anyone down if I do.

   When I work with a team I always like to make sure that we are all on the same page and for me I like to work with people who are putting forth there best effort I don't look for getting a task completed and then finishing off the whole project as quick as we can. I look for ways to be able to do an assignment and make it the best it can be because for me this is my art this is what I have a passion for and I do this not for the money but because it is what I have wanted to do my whole life. Making art is something that people can't just expect to make it is something that has to be created and creativity is something that can not be taught. I will always put my best foot forward when it comes to working on a project and I am here to make it the best it can be.
